About the role
A highly regarded, boutique family law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its sophisticated and client-centric practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to work on high-net-worth matters, collaborate with top-tier legal professionals, and play a key role in delivering strategic, personalized counsel.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex family law matters from inception through resolution
- Handle high net worth divorce, equitable distribution, and complex financial issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, financial affidavits, and legal memoranda
- Conduct discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Develop case strategy in coordination with partners and outside experts (e.g., forensic accountants)
- Advise clients with a high level of discretion and professionalism
- Participate in client development and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Active attorney license in Florida and status in good standing
- At least 5 years of experience handling family law matters at an advanced associate or similar level
- Demonstrated success working on cases involving high-net-worth individuals and intricate financial issues
- Strong courtroom and dispute resolution background, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage confidential, emotionally charged situations with maturity
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and client-centered approach to legal practice
- Interest in pursuing or obtaining Board Certification in Marital and Family Law is advantageous

Pay
$150,000–$200,000+ base (DOE; flexibility for top candidates)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Hybrid (in-office + remote flexibility)
Qualifications
Experience handling complex family law matters, particularly those involving high-net-worth individuals and intricate financial issues. Proven litigation experience, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills. High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive client matters. Detail-oriented, collaborative, and client-focused approach to legal practice. Interest in pursuing or obtaining Board Certification in Marital and Family Law is a plus.
