About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Roslyn, NY. The Associate Attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in discovery. Daily responsibilities include taking and defending depositions. The attorney will collaborate with colleagues to maintain high professional and ethical standards while advancing clients' interests.

• Handle matters before courts, including conferences, hearings, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high professional and ethical standards.
• Manage a litigation caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in law with at least 2 years of experience on the personal injury plaintiff side.
• Experience drafting motions.
• Proficiency in handling matters before courts.
• Skill in planning, taking, and defending depositions.
• Active license to practice law in New York; additional admissions (e.g., federal courts) are a plus.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including clear communication with clients, courts, and colleagues.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and case management abilities.
• Attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage a litigation caseload independently.
