About the role

Mattel is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team at our El Segundo, CA headquarters. Each member of this high-performing team plays a key role in shaping the future of Mattel.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Chief Strategy Officer and broader Mattel teams to shape Mattel’s corporate strategy and support the annual strategic planning process.
  • Partner closely with executives across the company on critical strategic projects, including leading cross-functional teams to realize business impact.
  • Support key M&A and corporate development priorities across the company.

Requirements

  • BA / BS degree from a top-tier university.
  • 3+ years of total professional experience, with work experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or in-house strategy.
  • Track record of impact.
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

Pay

The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
