Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing software and develop solutions for cloud platforms using .NET Core/C#/Azure/Web API.
  • Lead and participate in technical design discussions to produce high-performance, highly scalable, and resilient software components.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA members to identify best-in-class software solutions for complex problems in the healthcare industry.
  • Maintain existing legacy applications written in ASP.Net/C#.Net through defect correction and refactoring.
  • Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automating functional testing.
  • Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Retrospectives, and Sprint Demos.
  • Promote SOLID design principles for software development in a cloud-based environment to ensure code is easily modified, tested, extended, and refactored.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions in Azure (AWS/GCP exposure welcomed).
  • Strong SQL Server experience, including working within high-volume transactional environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
  • Solid foundation in object-oriented programming, software design, testing, debugging, and code quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working with secure web services and APIs.
  • Agile software methodology experience.
  • Experience with Databricks, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

Schedule

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. If located in the DFW area, the selected candidate may be expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated according to team needs and business priorities.

Pay

We offer a competitive compensation package determined by performance, experience, skills, equity, and market evaluations. The pay range for this position is $38.94 - $64.90 per hour. In addition to base pay, other compensation such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
