Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute purification and recovery activities, incorporating literature reviews and experimental design in consultation with your supervisor
- Develop and test new hypotheses to enhance the understanding of recovery and purification processes
- Plan and implement operational efficiency improvements across Bioprocess R&D work processes
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, results, and methodologies with guidance, presenting findings effectively
- Present problems and propose solutions in group discussions, contributing to work group goals
- Independently analyze, interpret, and conclude experimental data, prioritizing work to meet project deadlines
- Apply technical skills to assignments, choosing between alternatives to solve moderately complex problems
- Follow procedures for assignments with general instructions, working under moderate supervision with regular review
- Identify activities to support team goals, participating and contributing effectively as a team member
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with at least 3 years of experience or Master's degree (MBA/MS) with any years of experience
- Demonstrated expertise in independently designing, planning, and executing purification and recovery activities including chromatography, TFF, and NFF
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply them effectively in various scenarios
- Proficiency in experimental design and data interpretation
- Experience with operational efficiency improvements
- Ability to prioritize work to meet project deadlines
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
Qualifications
- PhD Degree (preferred)
- A sound understanding of statistical experimental design and analysis
- Proficiency with personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to choose between alternatives to solve moderately complex problems
- Proactive in identifying activities to support work group/project team goals
- Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity
- Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $114,300.00. This position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
