Sr Associate, M&A

About the role

Xpand, a Linville Team Partners company, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their M&A team. This role will play a role in business development and mandate oversight on their buy-side advisory team.

Responsibilities

• Business development via phone calls, emails and text to business owners in key markets
• Manage buy-side mandate relationships within 1-2 industries
• Communicate with internal and external teams on their deal pipelines
• Effectively manage and lead direct report(s)
• Review markets across the country utilizing various research tools
• Execute and manage prospecting campaigns
• Gather due diligence information from business owners

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, buy-side investment banking or private equity
• Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and personable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple projects
This is a full-time position based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina or Columbus, Ohio.
