Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules for assigned areas ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
- Optimize schedules to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, procurement, and quality control to ensure schedule adherence.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in daily/weekly production meetings to review schedule progress and adjust as necessary.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet production targets and address any bottlenecks or constraints.
- Identify and address any scheduling conflicts, delays, or disruptions in a timely manner.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.
- Analyze production data to track performance against schedules and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate and present regular reports on scheduling metrics, including on-time delivery, production efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate and improve scheduling processes and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Proven experience in capacity planning, master scheduling, or similar role.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive materials (e.g., COMSEC) with a high level of discretion and compliance with regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and demonstrate ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables and present concerns and information to stakeholders.
- Must be able to communicate with key stakeholders to understand and represent risks and opportunities.
