About the Role
We are seeking an adaptable accounting and finance professional to join a relationship-driven professional services firm supporting a range of client projects across accounting, finance, and CFO-umbrella functions. This role is built for someone who wants variety, growth, and exposure to high-impact work across industries and engagements.
Professional Resources work on assignments that may include:
- IPO readiness and support
- M&A and carve-outs
- SEC reporting
- Controllership support
- Financial and accounting advisory
- Systems and process implementations
- Other project-based CFO-office work
Responsibilities
- Support client engagements across a variety of accounting and finance projects
- Deliver high-quality work in fast-moving, project-based environments
- Partner with client teams and internal leaders to solve complex business problems
- Adapt quickly to different industries, teams, and engagement types
- Contribute to client relationships while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- Participate in ongoing development and leadership programming
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong public accounting background, ideally from a Big Four or top-seven firm (RSM, BDM & Grant Thornton)
- Experience with at least 1 Senior busy season (Jan-April)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple project types and client environments
Qualifications
- CPA, or active progress toward CPA
- Background in audit, accounting advisory, or financial due diligence
- Experience with public company clients
- Exposure to larger organizations with complex reporting needs
