About the role
The North American Commercial Channel Sales Team is seeking a Sr. Associate Account Representative to sell SAS software, education, and services into a range of industries in the US and Canadian Commercial space.
Responsibilities
- Discover, qualify, and close sales opportunities through focused prospecting, cold calling, and email cadence execution.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to keep them informed about new products and increase SAS usage throughout their organizations.
- Retain renewals within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with extended sales-team resources across SAS.
- Help drive business through channel partners.
- Build and cultivate trusted relationships with customers, prospects, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to drive engagement, uncover opportunities, and support long-term business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in prospecting and/or sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and strong time-management skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity, accountability, authenticity, and passion for learning—core SAS values that influence everything we do.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics, develop a sales plan, and accurately forecast sales.
Schedule
Hybrid position based at SAS headquarters in Cary, NC, requiring a minimum of three days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
