Sr. Area Director Finance (Remote Region Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Area Director Finance (Remote Region Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will lead area finance operations across multiple remote locations, serving as a key partner to regional and support-office leadership. The selected professional will guide planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and business review processes to help drive revenue growth, profitability, and sound decision-making. This position also carries responsibility for strengthening financial controls and supporting cross-functional initiatives that improve overall performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $210,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and develop area finance teams across multiple remote locations Support annual planning and forecasting for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Drive analysis for projects and business opportunities, providing financial support for decision-making Support revenue growth and profitability through strategic reviews and guidance on initiatives Establish and maintain SOX controls, ensuring compliance and integrity of financial results Communicate financial results to region and support-office personnel, facilitating business reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve area profitability and drive strategic initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees such as CPA or MBA preferred 10 years of management experience in accounting or financial analysis Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence others Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel up to 75% Experience with Anaplan is a plus Benefits Health insurance and pre-tax spending accounts Retirement benefits and paid time off Short-term and long-term disability coverage Employee stock purchase plan and life insurance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
