Sr. Application Engineer - Tessent Design for Test (DFT)

About the role

Work with sales and field technical teams to lead, define, and implement technical engagements that support sales campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product adoption by creating methodology and flows, including infrastructure integration into customer environments, identifying pilot projects, and debugging new methodologies.
  • Develop close customer relationships at multiple levels to assess technical and business requirements.
  • Identify Siemens flows/solutions and develop technical sales plans.
  • Qualify new opportunities, assess technical viability, and strategize with the sales team.
  • Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other relevant information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions.
  • Provide technical leadership for assigned accounts.
  • Perform other reasonable actions as required by management or leadership.

Requirements

  • BSEE or BSCS required; MSEE desired.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience as an Applications Engineer, ASIC Design Engineer, or related field.
  • Digital design experience and RTL coding with Verilog or VHDL.
  • Proven track record in Design for Test (DFT) for ASIC design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TCL language and programming concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Siemens Tessent DFT products (ideal).
  • Simulation and verification expertise.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with diagnosis-driven yield analysis (desired).
