About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Applications Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications, integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and workflow automation. This role will support the current Ruby on Rails environment while contributing to future solutions using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Lead application architecture, enterprise integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Develop RESTful APIs, background services, scheduled processes, and event-driven integrations.
- Support integrations across ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI, DAM, reporting, and web applications.
- Design and maintain database structures and data models.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, monitoring, error handling, and system reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development, security, and quality standards.
- Contribute to Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, and TypeScript applications.
- Leverage LLM-based development tools to improve development productivity.
- Support CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production support.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software or application development experience.
- Strong SQL, relational database, data modeling, and REST API experience.
- Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise integrations.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience with a server-side framework.
- Node.js and React experience preferred.
- Ruby on Rails experience preferred.
- Experience with Boomi, Temporal, Dagster, Kestra, or similar platforms preferred.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI, DAM, or similar enterprise systems preferred.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
- Experience using LLM-based development agents to improve productivity.
- AWS experience preferred.

$100,000–$130,000
