Sr. Application Analyst - Epic | Radiant/Cupid
About the Role
The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for participating in the overall design, implementation, training, documentation, operation, and support of Clinical or Business applications and reports. This includes contributing to the planning, design, implementation, and optimization of their specific application. The Sr. Application Analyst takes general direction from their supervisor or manager.
The Sr. Application Analyst may also serve as a Helios liaison to associated clinical or business departments, assessing optimization efforts to meet system goals including patient safety/quality of care, revenue capture, and efficient operations. Activities are performed following Henry Ford Health standards and processes.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or two years of college required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- More than two years of strong experience in one of the following areas:
- Technical experience: Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems, and ongoing technical support. Ability to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with IT experience.
- Clinical experience: Strong knowledge/experience in clinical workflows and processes. Ability to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with clinical experience integrated with IT solutions.
- Revenue experience: Specific knowledge of one or more of the following: bed management, registration, scheduling, revenue cycle reports, professional billing, hospital billing, medical records, or coding. Ability to articulate revenue cycle workflows and processes with a focus on IT-integrated solutions.
- Epic accreditation or certification in designated application (may be hired without it but must attain within the first 6 months of employment to continue).
