About the Role
This position is for a Senior Application Development Engineer specializing in PEGA RPA. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions within a large Healthcare client environment. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to deliver high-quality application enhancements and support project goals within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions and process flows using PEGA RPA, complying with established standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior developers and project team members to design and develop application enhancements.
- Actively participate in all Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Write, modify, and maintain code according to coding standards, and participate in peer reviews.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Create and maintain conceptual and detailed technical design documents.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and other problems, often anticipating issues before they occur.
- Participate in tier 3 application support activities, including incident management and the delivery of application upgrades and patches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in PEGA RPA.
- Proficiency in PEGA RPA and experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with work management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with production support, troubleshooting, and software testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
- Experience in evaluating and improving code quality and standards.
- Experience working with and directing third-party application developers.
