Responsibilities
- Support the development and resolution of investigations by assisting Investigators with research, documentation, and case-related activities
- Gather, review, and organize information from investigative systems and tools to support accurate and timely case progression
- Conduct case research using internal databases to identify relevant information, validate data, and document findings in alignment with established procedures
- Prepare and maintain clear, complete, and organized case documentation, including evidence and case notes
- Share relevant information and observations with Investigators, store teams, and partners to support case progress and resolution
- Manage multiple assigned tasks and priorities, including case support, reporting, and follow-ups, in a fast-paced environment
- Build foundational knowledge of Assets Protection operations, shortage trends, and investigative practices through on-the-job experience and training
- Build and maintain working relationships with Investigations teams and cross-functional partners to support collaboration and information sharing
- Adapt to changing priorities and investigative needs, seeking guidance when direction or clarity is needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a structured, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate information for accuracy and completeness
- Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, systems, and investigative processes
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and data entry tools
- Flexible work hours including some nights and weekends
- Previous investigative or analytical experience preferred
