About the role
The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Risk & Network Visibility plays a crucial role in enhancing visibility into supplier-held inventory and upstream supply chain networks to support critical supply chain initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a centralized dataset capturing supplier-held inventory (finished goods and raw materials), including contractual requirements and inventory commitments
- Assess and rationalize current supplier inventory data sources (e.g., APIs, iValua feeds, manual reporting), identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization
- Design and implement standardized frameworks and best practices for supplier inventory reporting, visibility, and governance
- Build analytics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor supplier inventory attainment, coverage, and alignment to contractual expectations and planning assumptions
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, IT, and Data teams to improve data quality, integration, and governance related to supplier inventory and master data
- Support the development and maintenance of supplier and sub-tier mapping capabilities, including key attributes such as COO, AML, and manufacturing locations
- Implement and scale a sub-tier supply chain mapping capability, including evaluation of tools, development of data intake processes, and establishment of governance for ongoing maintenance
- Perform advanced analytics and modeling to support supply chain risk management, inventory strategy, and operational decision-making
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or a related field, with exposure to areas such as inventory management, supplier management, or supply chain risk
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to support reporting, modeling, and decision-making
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and data structures (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, supplier management platforms like iValua, or similar tools)
- Ability to assess data quality, identify gaps, and drive improvements in data governance, standardization, and process design
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, IT, and Finance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative or technical field
- Experience with supplier network visibility, supply chain mapping, or multi-tier supply chain analysis, including tools or platforms such as Everstream Analytics, Altana, Prewave or similar
- Prior experience working with or integrating supplier data sources (e.g., APIs, EDI, supplier portals) to enable real-time or near real-time visibility
- Background in inventory strategy, planning, or materials management, including concepts such as safety stock, coverage, and lead time variability
- Experience supporting or building data models and governance frameworks for supply chain or master data (e.g., part-site, COO, AML structures)
- Familiarity with supply chain risk management (SCRM) concepts, including supplier risk, disruption monitoring, and scenario analysis
- Experience with advanced analytics or modeling techniques (e.g., Python, R, or statistical modeling) to support decision-making
- Exposure to cross-functional or enterprise systems transformations (e.g., ERP implementations, supplier platform migrations, or data architecture initiatives)
