Supply Chain Strategy Sr. Analyst

About the role

The Supply Chain Strategy Analyst will improve or create capabilities in the supply chain to enable end-to-end value chain optimization that allows us to be responsive to customer demand. They will also support the execution of strategic initiatives, manage project teams, and provide project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership to plan and execute strategic initiatives
• Manage complex business problems and projects into a project plan with recommendations for solutions and workstreams to achieve desired results
• Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, information collection, planning, and development work for project deliverables
• Utilize structured communication techniques to present ideas clearly and logically, ensuring that messages are concise and aligned with organizational goals
• Support the completion of all project deliverables using project management tools (E.g., work plans, deliverable trackers, issues log)
• Collaborate across functions with requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation of process and/or technology projects
• Support change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of process improvements, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement
• Prepare and lead project meetings with materials such as agendas, discussion documents, notes, key decisions, and action items. Meetings include status updates, workshops, and kick-offs
• Influence small work groups to gain cross-functional alignment
• Lead process design to develop solutions to complex business problems: Create process maps, RACIs, org designs, etc. in Visio or other tools
• Leverages tools like 5 Whys, Issue Tree, Fish Bone Diagrams, etc. to understand and communicate root cause. Perform data analysis using tools and statistical methods to support recommendations and decision making
• Aid in creating and delivering executive level presentations

Qualifications

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Ability to translate complicated concepts into simple business terms
• Project management and project implementation experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to organize, manage, and lead project teams with minimal support
• Ability to influence project team members outside of a direct hierarchy
• Knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, best practices, and trends in supply chain management
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization; ability to identify audience and flex communication style as appropriate
• Ability to manage issues and conflicts to resolution with composure
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with teams, management, and user community; leverage relationship management skills to achieve results
• Proven technical aptitude to leverage tools in the generation and management of project deliverables (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Planner, MS Teams, MS OneDrive, Visio, RACI, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management or Operations with 3+ years of experience
