Sr. Analyst, Supplier Partnerships
About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Analyst to support our Strategic Supplier Partnerships function within Service Strategy & Operations. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing supplier partnership strategies that improve operational performance, cost efficiency, supply chain resiliency, and customer outcomes. The Senior Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in supplier management, leveraging advanced analytical expertise to influence business decisions and drive measurable enterprise impact. This is a high-visibility role requiring advanced collaboration and influence across internal teams and external partners.
Successful candidates will serve as a trusted advisor on supplier performance and strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor junior team members on supplier management practices, and drive continuous improvement efforts that deliver sustainable business value.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with leaders across Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier performance, identify strategic opportunities, and lead initiatives that strengthen supplier capabilities and business outcomes.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques and market insights to solve complex supplier and operational challenges, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and drive implementation across multiple stakeholders.
- Balance competing priorities, influence decision-making, and align supplier strategies with broader organizational objectives.
- Lead complex sourcing and supplier selection initiatives, including RFP/RFQ processes.
- Develop supplier performance frameworks and scorecards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
- Oversee critical supplier relationships, evaluate risks and opportunities across the supplier ecosystem, and influence long-term supplier strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, supplier management, consulting, operations, analytics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise developing supplier strategies and managing complex supplier performance programs.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex business issues and develop strategic, data-driven solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; SQL or other data querying and analytics experience preferred.
- Experience leading RFP/RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, supplier scorecard development, and performance management initiatives.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment on strategic supplier decisions.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations, service delivery models, supplier governance, and performance optimization methodologies.
- Experience working with OEMs, distributors, service providers, technician networks, or other large-scale supplier ecosystems preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence senior leadership and external partners.

Pay
SquareTrade estimates the possible base compensation for this role, if hired in the U.S, to be in the range: $95K-$130K.
