Summary
The Sr. Analyst – Pricing and Promotion supports customers' businesses by transforming pricing, promotional, and category performance data into actionable insights. This role involves partnering with internal teams and client leadership to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Syndicated Pricing Analysis: Item Price Tracking, Market Intelligence, Identifying Price Misalignments
- Promotional Support: Building, Maintaining, and Reporting on Ad Versioning Strategy
- Monthly Business Trend Insights: Connecting with Category Managers, Providing Business Insights
- Bottler Segmentation: Document Preparation and Submission
- Zone Pricing: Supporting DG-developed Zone Pricing Capabilities
- Create Customized Reporting: Standard Business Reviews, Topline Reports, Item Rankings, TPD Tracker, Executive Scorecards, Pricing Reporting, Promotional Reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail data analysis or CPG
- 3 to 5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience
- Strong Excel expertise (advanced formulas, pivot tables, scorecards)
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for leadership audiences
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
