Sr Analyst - Manufacturing Finance
About the role
We're seeking a high-impact Financial Specialist to help transform how we analyze, consolidate, and act on operational financial data across our network of three manufacturing facilities and two distribution centers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, operations, and data/analytics—and is excited about leveraging Power BI, automation, and emerging AI tools to elevate decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Operational Performance & Executive Insights
- Lead productivity reporting and analysis, delivering clear, actionable insights to senior leadership, including the COO
- Translate operational data into strategic recommendations that improve efficiency, throughput, and cost structure
- Build and continuously enhance executive-level dashboards and reporting packages
- Working Capital & Inventory Optimization
- Provide financial oversight of working capital performance, with a focus on: Inventory productivity and turns Accounts Payable on-hand and cash efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve cash flow and operational discipline across sites
- Reporting & Forecasting Modernization
- Drive automation and modernization of monthly close reporting and forecasting processes
- Leverage Power BI and AI-enabled tools to improve speed, accuracy, and usability of financial data
- Standardize and streamline reporting across all manufacturing and distribution locations
- Deep-Dive Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Perform ad-hoc operational deep dives focused on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and process improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to evaluate and implement improvement initiatives
- Challenge existing assumptions and bring forward data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or operations finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven ability to build management reporting that drives insights—not just data
- Cost accounting experience strongly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Experience or interest in applying AI/automation tools to finance processes
- A self-starter who is motivated to make a visible impact
- Naturally curious—you ask “why” and dig deeper into the numbers
- Energized by cross-functional collaboration and working toward shared goals
- Excited about modernizing finance through analytics, automation, and technology
Pay
$93,254.00 - $109,710.00 Base Salary Rate
