About the role
This role is responsible for leading high-impact investment support functions and strategic initiatives that enable efficient, scalable, and risk-controlled operations. The position combines deep operational expertise, people leadership, and strategic influence to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality support to investment teams globally.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and oversee delivery of complex, global operational activities supporting portfolio management, ensuring scalability, quality, and strong control frameworks.
- Lead and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, clear expectations, and ongoing feedback.
- Drive organizational capability building, including talent development, succession planning, and knowledge sharing across ILSS and Shared Services.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute large-scale process improvement and transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery.
- Champion automation and data-driven solutions using tools such as Power Platform, Alteryx, and other technologies.
- Participate in complex, cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
- Act as an escalation point, providing guidance and decision-making on complex operational issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Establish and maintain robust governance, controls, and documentation to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and operational transparency.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions through a consultative, strategic approach and effective communication.
- Represent ILSS and GIO on cross-functional and firmwide initiatives, aligning operational capabilities with broader business objectives and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of total relevant work experience
- Meaningful experience within the investment management industry
- Proven ability to lead transformation efforts, including process redesign and automation
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Advanced analytical and technical skills (Excel; Power Platform, Alteryx, DUCO a plus)
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect operational execution to business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and change effectively
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
