The Opportunity The Distribution Segment is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team. This position provides business analysis and forecasting for various financial and accounting activities in support of the Distribution Segment’s operations. The individual in this role must be comfortable in a distribution environment, exhibit effective communication skills, be a self-starter and able to work independently. How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock Direct financial support for numerous locations. This may include support of the Mexico Specialty branch locations along with capital project tracking, review, and planning. Perform monthly cost and variance analysis. Complete assigned financial reporting needs. Provide support for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.Support activities related to internal and external audit requirements. Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and project support as needed. What You Need To Succeed Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance/Accounting)5+ Years experience with financial analysis and reconciliation processes.Must be proficient in Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.Experience with Alteryx a plus. Experience in JD Edwards and Hyperion a plus.Good organizational, problem solving and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
