Sr. Analog Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking Analog Circuit Design Engineers with a strong understanding of analog circuits and CMOS Image Sensors. You will work on detailed transistor-level design of analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS image sensors, including whole-chip and block-level simulations, as well as layout design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog circuits independently.
• Debug and verify design issues at the transistor level.
• Perform whole-chip and block-level transistor-level schematic simulations.
• Design and optimize block-level and transistor-level layouts for sensor array readout circuits using CAD tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre.
• Collaborate with verification, process, test, and application engineers to debug, characterize, and optimize performance of fabricated image sensors.
• Bring new products from initial concept through release.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analog circuits, digital circuits, and semiconductor device physics.
• Experience with image sensors and camera systems is a plus.
• Capability to perform analog layout.
• PhD or MSEE or equivalent.

Pay

Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $130,400 and $150,000. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant skills, education, experience, and comparable roles.
