About the role

AWS is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead and expand the business with strategic Generative AI startups. You will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction in this fast-paced and evolving technology space. The role involves building and maintaining broad relationships, developing and managing opportunities, and leading a large team of extended resources. You will define an executive relationship strategy, including building strong working relationships with AWS senior leadership for executive sponsorship, business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a quota-carrying technology field sales individual or business development professional.
• Increase technology adoption and create long-term transformational account strategies.
• Work with and present to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business.
• Identify, develop, negotiate, and close large-scale technology projects for Generative AI startups.

Requirements

• Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales individual or business development professional.
• Proven track record in increasing technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies.
• Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects, particularly for Generative AI startups.
