Sr. AI Software Engineer

About the role

The Lockheed Martin Space AI Talent Center is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team of experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Leverage cutting-edge AI/ML and software tools and techniques to tackle the most complex challenges in Space - all in support of our national security.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to drive innovation and contribute to the development of solutions that address critical problems in the Space domain.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Python development experience
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• TS/SCI clearance required to start

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and/or tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Front-end development experience using JavaScript
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with RF, SAR or EO image processing algorithms/techniques
• Experience automating the training, testing, and deployment of machine learning models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
