Sr Advanced Application Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced application engineering solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and manufacturing to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and customers to resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize application performance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead technical discussions and presentations with customers and stakeholders to communicate solutions and project status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in application engineering or a similar advanced engineering role.
- Strong expertise in developing and implementing complex engineering applications with a focus on process control and performance optimization for oil refineries.
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering software tools and simulation platforms relevant to application development.
- Experience with Honeywell’s DCS (Experion and/or Total Plan System) Programming experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner without compromising quality.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in contributing to internal and external technical documents.
- Proactive approach to understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations, ensuring a consistently positive experience with every interaction.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to application engineering.
About the Role
This position does require up to 30% travel to customer sites. In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of Honeywell and Blending applications, enhance product performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and customer solutions.
