Job Summary

Join the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute (MGB CI) Surgical Services team as a Senior Administrative Manager. This impactful leadership role oversees the administrative and operational functions that support a high-performing surgical oncology program. Working closely with clinical and organizational leaders, the Senior Administrative Manager drives operational excellence, enhances patient access and experience, and leads strategic initiatives that support quality, growth, and innovation.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic administrative policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.

  • Manage the administrative support functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.

  • Enhance patient and visitor experience by ensuring high standards of service in all administrative functions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.

  • Experience: 5-7 years administrative experience in a healthcare setting required. 3-5 years experience in a management or leadership role required.
