Senior ACI TechnicianLocation: Denver, CO Pay: $35–$45/hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time | Field-Based Experience: 5–10+ yearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior ACI Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. This role is ideal for a highly experienced materials testing professional with a strong background in civil construction, concrete testing, and CDOT projects.The Senior ACI Technician will perform field and laboratory testing, ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards, and work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and inspectors. Experience with CDOT work and civil infrastructure projects is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform concrete testing and inspection in accordance with ACI and project specificationsConduct field testing of concrete, aggregate, and other construction materialsPerform sampling, testing, documentation, and reporting of construction materialsMonitor concrete placement and verify compliance with project requirementsComplete testing documentation accurately and efficientlyInterpret project specifications, plans, and testing requirementsCommunicate test results and project issues with engineers, contractors, and project managementSupport quality control/quality assurance efforts on civil construction projectsPerform testing and inspection in accordance with CDOT requirementsMaintain accurate daily reports, test records, and inspection documentationAssist with training and mentoring junior techniciansMaintain all required certifications and follow applicable safety proceduresRequired Qualifications5–10+ years of experience in construction materials testing, concrete testing, or a related fieldStrong experience with civil construction projectsPrevious experience working on CDOT projects strongly preferredCurrent ACI certification requiredWAQTC certification requiredCAPA certification requiredStrong knowledge of concrete testing procedures, specifications, and industry standardsAbility to read and interpret construction plans and project specificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in the field and manage multiple project prioritiesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work outdoors and travel to various project sites throughout the Denver metro area and surrounding regionsPreferred ExperienceCDOT specifications and testing requirementsHighway, roadway, bridge, and other civil infrastructure projectsConcrete placement and inspectionAggregate and soils testingQuality control/quality assuranceExperience mentoring or overseeing junior techniciansCompensation & Benefits$35–$45/hour DOEOpportunity for overtime depending on project needsFull-time, long-term opportunityWork on major civil and CDOT projectsOpportunity for career growth and advancementIf you are an experienced ACI Technician looking to take on a senior-level role with a strong focus on civil construction and CDOT projects, we want to hear from you!
