Sr. Accounting Analyst

Preferred Qualifications

• Role Purpose: Reviews financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles. Provides guidance and direction to other staff. Facilitates special projects and coordinates activities associated with financial operations.

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, 2-5 years of relevant experience, no supervisor experience required.

• Preferred Requirements: Master's Degree in Accounting or Business, 5-10 years of relevant experience, 2-5 years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
• Coordinates the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Facilitates with department staff regarding special accounting, financial reporting, or analysis projects.
• Provides guidance to staff in absence of manager or supervisor.
• Captures and analyzes financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Coordinates the preparation of various regulatory reporting requirements, including audit, tax, cost reporting, and surveys.
