Essential Functions Execute month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations related to healthcare patient revenue and receivables, with precision and efficiency. Perform subsequent collection and lookback analyses to evaluate the accuracy and performance of patient revenue estimates. Conduct in-depth analysis of patient revenue data and trends, using high-volume data across multiple systems and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine revenue assumptions using both quantitative analysis and qualitative operational insights. Support and lead special projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements aimed at automating and enhancing revenue recognition models. Design, document and improve accounting infrastructure for processes requiring significant collaboration with RCM, including unapplied cash and patient credit accounting workflows. Identify, recommend and drive meaningful improvements to policies, procedures, and controls by drawing on prior healthcare and revenue cycle experience, with a forward-looking mindset. Adapt to evolving priorities while contributing positive energy to a collaborative team environment. Other duties as assigned EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Experience 4+ years of experience, preferably in a complex, multi-entity environment. Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on process optimization and scalability. Proven ability to excel in collaborative, fast-paced teams and adapt to a high-energy workplace. Demonstrated experience working with high-volume transactional data across multiple systems and tools Healthcare revenue cycle or patient accounting experience required. KNOWLEDGE Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting practices. Knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting systems and designing processes and procedures Accounting workpaper design and documentation Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor team members. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets. Visionary mindset with the ability to drive change, propose improved future-state processes, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
