Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
- Aid in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC and other filings.
- Assist with annual audit and quarterly reviews.
- Research and address accounting, consolidation, and reporting issues.
- Conduct research to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Maintain supporting documentation for financial reporting.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Education And/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires 5-8 years of relevant job related experience.
- Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires 8+ years of relevant job related experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving ability to recognize and address issues.
- Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and work habits.
- Initiative with a desire to become involved in the business.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Working Conditions
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
