Sr Accountant

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review reconciliations for receivable balances ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Record and monitor monthly accruals related to corporate card activity.
- Maintain accruals and payment requests for commissions in compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to accrued expenses.
- Collaborate and work closely with the lines of business on accounting items and variance drivers.
- Manage the relationship with field operations accounting teams, cross-functional teams, and subsidiaries.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization and with cross-functional and international teams.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution. CPA preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of progressive work experience. SAP and Hyperion experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate accounting and financial information to others.
- Strong Excel (advanced level - ability to manage, combine, and analyze large data sets, to efficiently support accounting operations), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
- Able to meet time-sensitive deadlines and detail-oriented.
