Sr. Accountant
About the role
A fast-growing international manufacturing company in Central Morris County is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, and very strong Excel skills including V Lookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
Responsibilities
- Traditional accounting functions including Month End Close, Bank Reconciliations, B/S Account Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, and Financial Statement preparation.
- Some experience with inventory is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
- Experience performing account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with pivot tables, lookup functions, and formulas.
- Background in manufacturing or inventory accounting is helpful but not required.
Qualifications
- Self-directed, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative finance team.
Skills
- SAP preferred but not required.

Pay
The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $90-110K range plus bonus, depending on experience and including top benefits.
