Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities
- Review and approve journal entries accurately and timely for the monthly accounting close cycle
- Review and approve properly supported account reconciliations
- Summarize and interpret accounting results
- Maintain an adequate system of accounting records
- Ensure consistent application and compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and local statutory requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Power Platform is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, detail oriented, deadline driven, and able to communicate effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4-6 years relevant accounting experience required
- Knowledge of and experience in functional accounting areas such as fixed assets, prepaids, intercompany, payroll, taxes, leases, etc.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- OneStream Software, and multiple currency exposure is a plus
Qualifications
Your challenge includes ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy. Ownership of Approver tasks for the assigned functional accounting areas, including accurate and timely review and approval of journal entries and relevant supporting documentation. Ownership of Approver tasks for balance sheet account reconciliations, including accurate and timely review for proper support, and approval, as well as investigation and resolution of reconciling differences in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency. Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
