Sr. Accountant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in a professional services firm
• Experience managing non-exempt employees
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical and business acumen
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable and cash receipts
• Ensure accurate vendor setup and maintenance, as well as expense processing
• Administer client payment processing across various methods
• Monitor trust account transactions for compliance
• Support accounts payable and receivable personnel with workflow and guidance
• Collaborate with strategic initiatives alongside senior management
• Drive improvements in accounting systems and internal controls
