About the role
TK Elevator Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager- Service/Repair based in Westchester or Poughkeepsie, NY. The role involves securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work, developing strong relationships with customers, and exceeding sales goals.Responsibilities
- Exceeds sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
- Manages service accounts by visiting Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers within assigned territory, building relationships in BOMA and other groups, and developing an understanding of their needs and wants.
- Develops capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying manuals and supplier information, including local elevator code requirements.
- Prepares repair job proposals and service contract bids, reviewing blueprints and surveying equipment as needed, and interfacing with operations personnel for approvals.
- Responds to written and oral questions about quoted repairs and service contracts, performing follow-ups with customers, and resolving outstanding issues.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by monitoring the status of current service contracts, visiting job sites, and working with operations to meet customer needs and deadlines.
- Contacts customers regarding contract renewals, advising of price increases if necessary.
- Demonstrates technical knowledge of H-Power features, determining customer needs, and developing sales strategies to communicate H-Power modernization offerings.
- Utilizes the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool to update and manage sales pipeline.
- Aids in Accounts Receivable (A/R) collection efforts to ensure prompt payment from customers.
- Coordinates submittal packages through the approval process and creates change orders as needed.
- Works with the operations team to negotiate the Scope of Work (SOW) and collaborates with contract administrators, sales support, and legal as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of business-to-business sales experience.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross-functional colleagues.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Preferred Salesforce experience.
- Preferred ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings.
