About the role

The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for setting a long-term strategy and executing daily to grow customers. In addition to being a customer, these companies partner with AWS as an ISV and have multiple GTM goals. In the role, you will build and maintain broad relationships, develop and manage opportunities, and facilitate a large team of extended resources.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting for complex opportunities
  • Building pipeline and identifying new areas of innovation and partnership
  • Executive Engagement and Stakeholder Management
  • Selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account
  • Implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation
  • Collaborating with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests
  • Facilitating new service adoption and new line of business development
  • Dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration

Requirements

Experience with cloud computing technologies
8+ years of technology sales experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

  • Experience analysing market opportunities, engaging and negotiating with customers, and defining new areas of innovation
  • Experience with AWS or cloud technologies

Skills

  • Experience with creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all ISV customer's needs
  • Strong ability to advocate for the customer in harmony with what the AWS business needs

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
