About the role

The Senior Account Manager will be a driving force behind day-to-day activities on a client brand and is a key team member in leading the development of client projects. The role will collaborate with the team to build strong client relationships and produce excellent work.

Responsibilities

  • Determine deliverables, timing, and budget.
  • Develop detailed Project Briefs for all new projects.
  • Lead kickoffs and internal and external status meetings.
  • Work across the extended team (art/copy/editorial/project management/account coordination/finance) to achieve internal and external project goals.
  • Review and sign off at each phase of project routing and ensure that all team members follow agency process.
  • Engage with clients and act as a pivotal link between client and agency.
  • Work with Team supervisor to obtain necessary client feedback and approvals.
  • Effectively communicate and provide status updates to the client.
  • Deliver timely and thought-out decisions in response to project demands.
  • Drive development of Client-facing status reports, aligning with internal partners (Project Management and Account) to provide clear and accurate project updates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years pharmaceutical advertising agency experience with medical education experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions.
  • Desire and ability to understand scientific information.
