Sr Account Manager
Responsibilities
Lead account growth while managing the customer relationships and voice of the customer.
Work in the tier team, and with OEM teams, to develop customer strategies focused on high- and low-voltage connectors, headers, and terminals, as well as high-performance interconnect solutions including HSCA and SRS assemblies.
Drive detailed, differentiated value propositions to maximize bookings, revenue, and profitability while achieving Aptiv metrics and strategic objectives.
Partner and build relationships with your assigned customer.
Lead resolution of customer commercial disputes (recognized as Aptiv’s customer lead).
Establish proactive communication and relationship that promotes confidence and trust.
Sure customer demands are managed through the appropriate internal processes such that all responses are made timely, within and consistent with our commercial policy.
Create and drive deployment of strategic plan for customer through the operation of customer team and interaction with all relevant functions.
Regularly report on strategic goal progress and act to correct deviation/shortfall.
Identify business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of sales experience leading cross-functional programs and initiatives in close collaboration with Manufacturing, Finance, and Engineering
- Connection, device and electrical systems experience
- Account Management Experience with tier accounts and OEM accounts (GM experienced preferred)
- Multitasker with proven capability of strong work ethic
- Experience in leading a global sales team in manufacturing or technology industry
- Track record in managing complex commercial discussions (auctions, disputes etc.)
- Track record in establishing global customer strategies and increasing revenue/growth
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
- 5+ years of sales experience, leading cross-functional programs and initiatives
- Previous automotive system experience
- Sales and / or engineering background
- Fluency in Spanish
