Sr. Account Executive, Health Sales
About the role
Cadent ignites seamless connections between brands, publishers, and consumers. Our predictive AI orchestrates outcomes on any platform customers are on, across any media they consume, and at any stage of the journey. This role focuses on the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare category, continuing and creating new sales momentum nationally among brand direct and agency clients within the Health vertical, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, and hospitals. We're open to candidates at the Account Executive, Sr Account Executive, or Sales Director level.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify new revenue opportunities; drive account growth and profitability acceleration including new business, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Present and evangelize the Cadent Health platform and value proposition to agencies and brands through detailed capabilities presentations and demos.
- Own extensive client communication, strategic planning, and troubleshooting to promote client satisfaction; develop and improve executive-level relationships within named accounts.
- Provide thought leadership and consultation on aligning client business needs with products, solutions, and services offered.
- Set sales strategy and achieve quarterly/annual goals.
- Drive contract negotiations for new sales, account growth, and contract renewals.
- Sell enterprise-level SaaS solutions in the digital ad space.
- Create value and differentiate services/products from competitors.
- Collaborate with strategy and account management teams; provide real-time feedback to product teams.
- Own revenue forecasting (via Salesforce.com) and ensure accuracy of sales entries.
- Work independently to find new accounts and grow existing ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
- 3+ years of digital media and SaaS/enterprise sales experience.
- Highly familiar with the DSP and programmatic space as well as the ad agency ecosystem.
- Experience selling nationally to brand direct and agency clients within the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical vertical.
- Proven sales track record selling HCP and DTC solutions to Pharma and agency clients.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay
The salary range for this role is USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 per year. In addition to the posted base salary, sales roles are eligible for uncapped performance-based commission. Target commission opportunities vary by role and may represent up to 100% of base salary, depending on the applicable sales compensation plan.
