About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including PPL, CPL, IR, and CFI certifications. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach private pilot licenses (PPL), commercial pilot licenses (CPL), instrument ratings (IR), and flight instructor certificates (CFI).
- Offer ground school and flight instruction for private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilots.
- Prepare students for FAA checkrides and provide personalized training and checkride prep.
- Train on various aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft.
- Teach advanced ground courses and instrument rating (IR) training.
- Offer flight reviews (BFR) and flight instructor endorsements (CFI/CFII/MEI).
Requirements
- Valid pilot license and instructor certificate in relevant aircraft type.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Experience in flight training and aviation education.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of flight instructing experience.
- Completion of relevant aviation courses and certifications.
- Pass a background check and meet FAA medical requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and environments.
