Sprinkler/Water Mist Designer

Typical Responsibilities

• To work with and under instruction from the Design team management
• Show willingness to learn new systems and procedures
• Organizing time with the Design manager for allocated jobs
• Dealing with challenges on sites and adopting the right attitude to overcome obstacles
• Acting as a company ambassador, maintaining a smart appearance, pleasant attitude, and diplomatic communication skills
• Being available for working away from home and offering overtime support if required
• Having the knowledge of sprinkler systems and the ability to design a system from site survey to as-built
• Finding creative design solutions to problems
• Creating and managing distribution systems

• Qualifications:
  • LPCB Basic - Essential
  • LPCB Intermediate - Desirable
  • LPCB - FHC - Desirable
  • Clean UK Driving Licence - Essential
  • CSCS - Essential
• Experience:
  • AutoCAD - Essential
  • Revit/BIM - Desirable
  • Canute - FHC - Essential
• Skills / Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service skills - Essential
  • Professional telephone manner - Essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - Essential
  • Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access - Essential
  • Competent using AutoCAD & Canute FHC - Essential
  • BIM / Revit modeling - Desirable
  • Able to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations - Essential
  • Able to maintain accurate records - Essential
