Responsibilities
- Perform service, repairs, and inspections on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet back flow, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures; refer to technical manuals, interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and schematics.
- Electronically complete Service Requests with proper coding and obtain customer’s signature.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Pipefitter industry.
- TQP License OR sufficient hours to obtain one.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Occasional paid overnight travel.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and prioritize safety guidelines and procedures.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets company requirements.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
- NICET Level II desired and encouraged but not required.
Pay
$32.00 - $43.00 hourly rate, determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
