Spring Up Utility

About the role

To help provide training and support functions in the spring up department.

Responsibilities

• Perform any task assigned in the department.
• Train employees.
• Perform repair work.
• Support department supervisor and employees.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.

Working conditions: Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plants with concrete floors.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of outside upholstery experience.
• Preferred experience in furniture manufacturing.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma.
• Preferred education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Knowledge of departmental procedures.
• Ability to read ticket orders.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work safely, neatly, and quickly to meet production requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Team player.
• Reliable.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Ability to wear required safety PPE (safety glasses and closed‑toe/closed‑heel shoes).
• Ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries.

Pay

Non‑Exempt – Full Time – Hourly.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday 6 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Friday 6 a.m.–10 a.m.; overtime as needed.
