Responsibilities
- Aid in setting up company equipment and tooling to support the production floor.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Make equipment changeovers, adjustments, and operate machinery.
- Verify work instructions and set-up changes requested by leads or operators.
- Evaluate new tooling and part numbers to set machine parameters.
- Create programs for marking equipment and verify locations and sizes according to prints.
- Maintain production tooling and create work orders for repair or replacement.
- Assist in organizing projects within departments (e.g., furniture setups, labeling).
- Engrave gages, prototypes, tooling, and other materials as needed for Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Tool Room.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent (vocational training preferred).
- Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally and maintain effective working relationships.
- Comprehend and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, component drawings, Bill of Materials, etc.
- Given company-provided training, able to operate a fork truck.
- Able to use and input information into a computer (e.g., Outlook email, AS400).
- Able to work overtime during the week and Saturdays.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Two or more years’ experience in a related field (e.g., automotive or industrial).

Pay
Hourly pay rate: $19.80-26.40/hour
Schedule
2nd shift Monday through Friday, 4:00PM-12:30AM
