Spring Intern PRT- Athletics (Sports Management)

Required Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Strong written and verbal skills
• Possess investigative interest
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism

Intern Responsibilities

• Providing their own transportation to and from work
• Arriving at the work site at the time designated by the worksite supervisor
• Performing tasks assigned by the vocational instructor/coordinator and the worksite supervisor in an efficient manner
• Demonstrating honesty, punctuality, courtesy, a cooperative attitude, appropriate dress, and a willingness to learn
• Conforming to the guidelines of the internship worksite

Requires a valid driver’s license with a driving record that complies with the City Driving Standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience

Schedule

Work hours vary and include significant evenings, weekends, and periodically holidays. Will be required to work some events, programs, and activities within other sections of the City and Department.
