About the role

We are looking for interns excited to be involved with an early-stage, well-funded start-up. Both undergraduate and graduate students with backgrounds in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, product and business development, and marketing should apply. Students will work closely with the start-up leadership team. Specific projects and tasking will be influenced by level of experience and area of interest. Duration and start-date are flexible, with this position having the option of extending into the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Computer Science and Electrical Engineering:
  • Work closely with the technical team, implementing computer vision algorithms and developing GUIs.
  • Opportunities available in embedded software, perception, and imaging systems.
• Mechanical Engineering:
  • Work closely with the technical team, developing rapid prototypes of enclosures and mechanical interfaces for the prototype camera system and dev kit.
  • Experience with CAD and rapid prototyping is required.
• Product and Business Development:
  • Work closely with business and product leads to identify and perform product-market fit, market analysis, and customer needs analysis.
  • Graduate-level students may lead the market analysis and customer outreach for a target industry.
• Marketing:
  • Work directly with both the technical and business/product teams to develop marketing materials, including pitch decks and concept videos.
  • Option to work closely with prototype camera systems to build demo videos, comparing performance to others on the market in head-to-head comparisons.
  • Illustrate ‘the art of the possible,’ communicating both current capabilities and future vision to customers.
  • Option to build the brand’s online presence, including website and social media.
