About the role
Get real, on-the-job training through our internship program. Winter offers Project Engineer internships for students who have completed their freshman year of college. Our interns receive hands-on experience, develop strong relationships, and leave with indispensable work experience.
Interns encounter exposure to many of Winter's daily business functions, including:
- Pre-construction
- Project start-up
- Finances
- Estimating
- Submittals
- Quality assurance
- Project documentation
- Scheduling
- Safety
- Close-out
- Warranty
- Presentations
- Site analysis
- Business development
- Client relationships
Opportunities
This opportunity features contribution in a right-sized organization. Winter is not so large that there is a danger of becoming "just a number," but large enough that you benefit from sophisticated systems and approaches. Interns at Winter get exposure and have the same experience as Project Engineers.
Chart your path toward a Project Manager or Superintendent role. Our goal is to extend our interns an offer to spend another semester with us or hire as a full-time Project Engineer, depending on your graduation date.
Location
We are based in Atlanta and love building in and around the Southeast.
