About the role

Northside Hospital is award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing. The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in alignment with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
• Clinical specialty certifications relevant to specific units
• Visual color acuity (required for roles in specific units)
