Spring 2027 Mechanical Engineering Co-Op - Product Development

As a product development mechanical engineering intern/Co-op with Trew you will gain experience with many aspects of the design process including product design, product evaluation, technical drawing and revisions and bill of material creation and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Designing components and sub-systems that form parts of complex systems.
- Analyzing data to determine if design meets function and performance specifications.
- Creating and maintaining items and BOM structure.
- Producing high quality 3D modelling drawings.
- Working directly with lead engineers.
- Producing design and cost estimation.
Requirements
Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical preferred).
This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.
